Pink, Blue, and Oh, So Cute!

I just had to get this Mrs. Bunny Blue Travel Kit when I saw it on the Sigma website. The brushes are so cute with their pink ferrules and baby blue handles. Putting cuteness aside, Mrs. Bunny and the rest of the Bunny Collection brushes are Sigma's first ever vegan brushes. The bristles are made with the same synthetic Sigmax HD fibers.

I ordered this set on New Year's Eve, I believe and got it last Friday. Soon after taking pictures of the brushes, I washed them right away. There seriously was not a single sign of shedding or bleeding. Other than no worries of shedding or bleeding pleasing me, I was also very pleased with how soft they are. I've been using them since Saturday and I'm impressed with how well they perform.

My favorite one is the F40, the Large Angled Contour brush. This brush applies blush and bronzer very seamlessly. You won't see streaks or blotches on your cheeks or in the hollows of them. Another favorite is the E40, Tapered Blending brush. Because it is tapered and quite stiff, it made blending color in the crease very easy. I like it for applying transition color above the crease as well. The E65, Small Angle, is pretty good too. Instead of gel liner, I used this brush to apply eyeshadow as an eyeliner instead.

The F30, Large Powder brush was alright for me. It is useful for lightly dusting powder all over the face. For heavier coverage, you're better off using a kabuki or powder puff. This brush will also be great for touching up your T-zone too when you see signs of shine.

I tried using the F60, Foundation brush, for cream foundation. It did not work for me. I ended up resorting back to cosmetic wedges. I am not giving up on this brush. I will give it a chance when I use liquid foundation. Now that's when I'll really get to know the ability of this brush.

The E30, Pencil brush, is pretty good as well. It performs like any other pencil brush. Unlike many other pencil brushes, this one is not scratchy. Now that's a plus. The last brush to be mentioned is the E55, Eye Shading. Poor brush. I actually haven't used it yet.

Another cute factor to mention about this brush set is the baby blue container. Because I bought the travel edition, the container will probably be a lot smaller than the standard-sized one. It's neat how you can unclasp the container to become two separate cups. The travel edition set of seven brushes complete with cup container retails at $59.99. If you're more into basic black with silver ferrules, there is a Mr. Bunny set too. Both sets have bigger versions that cost $109.99.

Because I've been using the brushes for about three days, I still need more time to get a better feel of their performance. Plus, there's one brush that I still have yet to use. With this set, I like how I'm not really feeling the need to pull out more brushes to use. The set seems pretty complete to me.

I'm soooo glad they finally decided to come up with a vegan set of brushes! Synthetic brushes are usually much softer than natural ones, and there's no crulety, yey!

omg i'm a sucker for easter colors so i'm super jealous to see your new brushes :D! i love that they are the travel sized version too because the handles are a lot shorter :)

the bag.... :) well hindi siya LV or Chanel or Gucci ;). it was under 1000 bucks but close x_x. super kilabot just thinking about the price lol! but yeah, i don't know... do you ever feel bad sometimes when you make a big splurge? for some reason i was so ashamed to even tell peter how much i spent. i think i was ashamed cuz here i am preaching so much about smart i am when it comes to my spending. :/. it was way beyond my budget but at the same time, i'm reminding myself na... it's not like i spent the entire money in my back account to pay for it lol!

kasi talaga i'm so kuripot so it felt really weird to pay full price of something that will never go on sale LOL

yung zara ata sa cali it's all the way sa LA at SF. but at least kayo may H&M :(. meron na rin dito sa texas but it's all the way in dallas which is 4 hrs away D: ... yes i'm super in love with the trousers too! :D pero meron din mga ganung cut in many stores so it shouldn't be hard to find them. mahirap lang sa akin eh kung kasya ng maayos sa hita ko LOL

we love CPK too <3. i was so close to trying the white pizza, but that day i was craving mushrooms, sausages, & pepperoni.. totally a guy's pizza lol

These look amazing and I love the fact that they are vegan. This has become a huge selling point with me. Be curious to see your final review of these... they look not only cute but like they would be great quality and I am overdue for a brush overhaul!

LOL! i actually have one Celine Dion tape XD!!!! but you know, they used to be the "sh*t" before pop and other adult contemporary (artists) just turn into a depraved sex objects with auto tuned recodings -_-. of course, there are still some that are actually talented, but it's just annoying that they're not as highly regarded... :(

i know right? so much for going green :). it did come out pretty cute in a weird unconventional way to use that creamer container instead of a regular plant pot. hehe.

you made me LOL on the question that you answered. i seriously could not think a lot of question and that question popped in my head when i was listening to Justin Beiber's "Baby" song. I found myself singing along then somewhat felt embarrassed afterwards LOL!

PS: go get a boba. NOW :D lol! wala kaming tapioca express dito :( pero merong several bubble tea shops. i am hoping too that they have this particular flavor that it would taste just as good :)

ako rin :D, i loved mariah carey more before she started doing all the bubblegum pop crap after the 90s. doesn't surprise me that the only songs that i liked from her after the 90s are mostly her slow love songs LOL!

when it comes to containers talaga, it's best to find ways to re-use them :). at least makakatipid kaysa bibili ka ng item na alam mo namang meron ka na sa bahay hehe.

andito si peter nung pinapakinggan ko si beiber lol! i was upstairs tho... in the bedroom... with the door... locked. LOL

bago ako nakapumunta sa california, peter and i went out during the day and ate lunch at this tex mex restaurant that we love. malapit siya sa shopping center, it's a small one, where they had the olive oil/balsamic vinegar shop that i posted about last year :). there's a huge sephora there too so even though i didn't plan on getting anything, i wanted to check out the tarina tarantino blush that temptalia had posted maybe last month(?). peter eventually came and saw that i was checking out the blush. he asked if he could just buy it for me since i won't be in texas with him for christmas. so yeah... he didn't really pick the shade ;) lol

makakatipid ka nga kung magre-reuse. i would actually keep those grocery bags and use them as trash bags for our little trash cans in our bathrooms :). at least that way i don't have to buy those tiny plastic bags that are meant for the tiny trash cans.

I love the E40 for blushes too. I'm so glad you got this set. It's a nice one. I don't have this particular one, but I did buy a set of brushes that came with a purple container. I love it too!

As for the F60, I used to use it for liquid foundation before I got the F80. I've never tried it with cream foundation, but give it a chance with liquid :)

Great post, and hope you enjoy!
